I took this class in January, and I have been recommending it to my family and friends ever since. I use what I learned in the class on a daily basis. Amber has such a soothing voice and calming energy; I would love for her to make her own relaxation audiofiles!

Amber expertly breaks down pain and the body’s response into digestible bites that I could easily understand. Knowing more about my body and my pain helps me reduce my fear and anxiety around my pain and helps me focus on healing. If you’re dealing with chronic pain, I can’t recommend this course enough!

Amber is by far one of the best in the field in regards to pain science and working with individuals with persistent pain. Even though I do not suffer from significant persistent pain, these techniques are helpful in dealing with different types of aches and discomfort as well as providing a great understanding of why we feel what we feel. The information is easily relatable and provides take home techniques that can be implemented instantly!

The best!!! Amber gave me tools to deal with pain. I understand my body and how to respond to my pain so much better now. I appreciate the long term skill building that allows me too actually relax my pain into the background. New and outstanding approach. Amber is well organized, articulate, and empathetic.

Amber did a wonderful job leading this class. She thoroughly provided information regarding how our bodies experience and process pain or distress, and provided many simple yet effective tools for immediate implementation and finding relief. I appreciate her pacing in presenting the material and her patience in inviting our participation and thoughtfully answering our questions. I would highly recommend this course to anyone experiencing pain, whether it be physical, mental, or emotional. You’ll be in good hands.

Amber, a genius in her field, offers a path forward to those battling persistent pain. I appreciate that the empowered relief course was developed and tested by scientists at Stanford, is based on the latest pain science, and includes objective data from studies and brain images. I suffer from multiple pain conditions and was once homebound by pain; Amber and the empowered relief tools got me from there to here.

Such a great class with powerfully useful information! Amber is an excellent public speaker, and she guided us through the scientific information and how we can apply it with the same calming and engaging tone of a nice meditation.
This class is worth taking for anyone–period. We all eventually will be dealing with pain in our lives, and understanding how our focus & narratives directly affect the severity and duration of that experience is critical for proper treatment.
I’ll be referring my friends and family to Amber’s class because I want them to be able to live better lives as go through life and deal with pain.
