Description
The aim of this program is to increase your success in integrating relaxation medicine and self soothing techniques into your daily lives. This will ensure the best brain training results and increase your confidence in your ability to successfully manage your pain experience.
The program will begin on Monday, January 23rd and run for 8 weeks, formally ending on Friday, March 17th. The program will consist of:
-one email sent to you every Monday, containing information on a topic relevant to pain as well as a short reflective writing exercise on this topic (this will take about than 3-5 minutes)
-one virtual 60 minute support group meeting on Wednesdays from 4-5pm PST. This is an opportunity to work through barriers, trouble shoot obstacles, and learn from each other in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. This has been a tremendous source of insight for past participants, we really stand to learn a lot from each other!
-one email sent to you every Friday, containing a short audio file with a guided exercise and intention setting for your weekend (this will take about 5-10 minutes)
The emails will not only provide you with the reminders to stay consistent with your relaxation response practice, they will also expose you to new ideas and practices that will continue to foster a supportive inner dialogue and actionable steps to gain better control over your pain. You will receive 8 short audio files with various relaxation, breathing, and contemplation exercises to add to your self-soothing action list.
The cost of the 8 week program is a sliding scale $160-320. Thank you for your generosity in supporting access to this program for others, by donating the maximum amount that is manageable for you. Please send payment to info@ptmindfully.com on Paypal to register.

The weekly meeting is a place to connect with people who truly understand what it means to live with chronic pain. Amber has done a fantastic job fostering a community where we can learn how to better manage our pain from her and from each other.
